New Pavilion of Environmental Studies at the Czech University of Life Sciences: Innovation in Sustainable Education
In September 2023, the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague ceremoniously opened the new Pavilion of Environmental Studies, which has become a model of sustainability and innovation in educational spaces. This project is a significant step forward in the field of eco-friendly architecture and was realized in cooperation with the Esox company and the Origon designer.
Ecological Innovations and their Importance for Education
The pavilion exemplifies the integration of modern technologies with a focus on sustainability. As part of the project, we supplied top-of-the-line MERCI® laboratory and office furniture, which is fully certified and meets the highest standards of quality. This equipment is key to ensuring the ergonomics and functionality needed for a modern educational environment.
Technology and Sustainability
The pavilion uses advanced irrigation systems that efficiently utilize rainwater and greywater, thereby reducing the building's energy requirements and improving the microclimate. Thanks to these systems, the pavilion not only saves energy but also contributes to improving the local ecosystem.
Impact on Climate Change
The pavilion is designed to face the challenges of climate change. Its green facades and low-energy roofs are a significant contribution to climate change adaptation and demonstrate how educational institutions can contribute to environmental protection.
Conclusion
As suppliers, we are proud to be part of projects that link technological progress with ecological responsibility. The new CULS pavilion is an example of how innovative approaches in education and science can lead to lasting sustainability and adapt to environmental challenges.
