Liebherr integrated laboratory refrigerators in MERCI furniture at Laborexpo 2026

  • Date: 16.04.2026
  • Author: Marek Reichstädter

At this year’s Laborexpo trade fair, we will present new Liebherr laboratory refrigerators integrated into MERCI laboratory furniture as part of a specific workstation solution. Visitors will therefore not only see a standalone appliance, but also an example of how a built-in laboratory refrigerator can be incorporated into real laboratory operation.

The option of integration into laboratory furniture is one of the main practical advantages of these models. The new undercounter laboratory appliances from Liebherr are designed so that, thanks to front-side ventilation and air exhaust, there is no need to solve rear or top ventilation. This makes their integration into laboratory setups easier and gives greater freedom when designing a workstation.

Would you like to see this solution in person? Get your ticket for Laborexpo and visit the MERCI stand, where a selected model from the new range will be integrated directly into laboratory furniture.

In practice, this means the ability to design a clean, compact and functional laboratory workstation, where temperature-sensitive substances can be stored directly under the work surface, without unnecessary compromises in safety or operation.

This new range includes the Liebherr built-in laboratory refrigerators:

  • Liebherr SRUvg 1011 - under bench laboratory fridge with fan-assised cooling and glass door
  • Liebherr SRUvg 1001 - under bench laboratory fridge with fan-assised cooling and steel door
  • Liebherr SRUfg 1001 - under bench laboratory fridge with spark-free interior (ATEX-95 certified) and steel door

The new products will be on display at our stand within MERCI laboratory furniture, to demonstrate how they can be used in a real laboratory workstation setup.

This demonstration in a finished MERCI setup clearly shows that laboratory cooling should not be seen only as a standalone appliance, but as part of the entire workstation, where technology, safety and space design come together.

Don’t want to wait for the trade fair? Send us your non-binding inquiry now and we will be happy to discuss a suitable solution for your project.

The Liebherr laboratory range for 2026 does not only include integrable undercounter models, but also compact appliances for smaller workstations. Thanks to their small dimensions, they can be placed on or under a workbench wherever cooled samples and materials need to be kept within easy reach.
